Derek is a licensed hairstylist from sunny Socal born and raised. He graduated from Bellflower School of Cosmetology in 1998. For over a decade he has shared with us his love, passion, and admiration for hair styling and hair care by promoting healthy hair, style technique, and turning our everyday woman into a glamorous beautiful soul that she already is.  He relishes upon transforming a woman into feeling her best inside and out. He has a passion for thermal pressing, coloring, cutting, loc maintenance and install of weaving. He can turn your hair into a smooth, shiny, silky texture in no time. He has met so many vibrant and creative people along the way in the industry and he’s all about changing one woman at a time.  In 2013 Derek joined the Tony Roland Salon as a Co-owner and stylist. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and dining. He attends various hair shows annually; such as The Bonner Bros., The Premier Show, and IBS. He attends numerous classes to stay ahead with the latest trends and techniques.
